Our founder Ben Woodford has had limited mobility and has been using a wheelchair for over 15 years. As such, he understands the pain that long-term wheelchair use can cause on the shoulders, elbows, hands, and other joints in the body. In 2018 he had a vision of a device that would allow those in wheelchairs to utilize an ease of mobility device that was practical, affordable, and fun.
At ModEd Boards we are striving to make that vision a reality. Our goal is to provide an ease of mobility device to all those in need regardless of their financial standing. Powered wheelchairs are extremely costly. This low cost alternative will allow anyone in need the freedom to be able to get out and about to enjoy their lives without having to suffer through the arm, back, and joint pains that come along with having to move yourself around under your own power.
As a non profit company all proceeds go towards helping to provide those in need with one of our fun and revolutionary recreational devices designed for wheelchair users, by a wheelchair user.
